Four college students set out on an adventure, hoping to come back with material for a class paper around urban legends. The goal is simple—visit an abandoned haunted house to uncover its origins and what led to it being an urban myth shrouded in tragedy. They arrive and are surprised to learn that the house isn’t abandoned. A caretaker named Amare welcomes them and offers to share what he knows of the home’s dark roots. A wedding gift, the house was intended to bring happiness to a young couple.

But a stranger had other ideas.  And that stranger is being played by Richard Grieco. Grieco is best known as Detective Dennis Booker in the popular Fox series 21 JUMP STREET and its spin-off BOOKER.

Sanctus House is a contained horror film set almost entirely in a single location. Filmed in just 5 days, the project leaned on atmosphere, tension, and psychological dread rather than heavy VFX or costly set pieces. As Co-Director, DP, and Editor, I took the film from pre-production through final delivery, handling camera, lighting, edit, and color grade.

This film represents my philosophy of fast, resourceful, one-stop indie filmmaking—delivering a complete feature with a minimal crew and budget.
